3D Pen Pattern - Lock

$3.50

Introducing our 3D pen pattern for an engineering lesson on making a functioning lock. Explore the mechanism behind a simple lock and conceptualize a 3D object using layers.  This pattern is a great way to incorporate hands-on learning into your classroom or personal studies.

Product is a PDF file pattern to make a lock. Build time is approximately 45 minutes.  The pattern will be delivered as an attachment to an email after purchase.

This is a difficult project but do not be discouraged. It is very satisfying when completed and the process will encourage problem solving skills. Be aware that it does take practice to master using a 3D pen and this project requires very precise technique in order to allow the pieces to move and fit together. Multiple attempts at creating the pieces may be necessary. Sanding or clipping small imperfections around edges will be a helpful approach for the success of this project.

Please note that this listing is for the pattern only and does not include any materials or tools required. You will need your own 3D pen and filament to create this design.
